The Plein Air Painters' U.S. Open
An annual event in the Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve (Coupeville, WA) celebrating Plein Air painting. It is an open competition with awards, a Gala Exhibition/Silent auction, and a Public Exhibition/Sale, for the benefit of the Coupeville Arts Center.

Spirit of Chautauqua Show
This year marks the 85th anniversary of the Boulder Art Association and the 110th anniversary of the Boulder Chautauqua Association. To celebrate, these two organizations are collaborating on an art show September 5-7 to be held at the historic Chautauqua Community House. BAA will offer $2500 in awards. The Best of Show artist will also be offered the opportunity to display the winning entry at Chautauqua.
Deadline is July 3, 2008.
