I was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin and attended Indiana University, Bloomington.I received a degree in fine arts. I taught private art lessons in Milwaukee and Indiana.I have been doing commissioned portraits for the past 20 years and still life, landscapes for 30 years. I do portraits from pictures and models, as many of my commissioned pieces are for a gift or the person I am drawing is deceased. I am also a member of the Colorado Artist Guild. I recently won an honorable mention from the Pastel Journal Art Competition for 2002-03. I have been juried into many local and nationwide competitions and do local shows with the Colorado Artists Guild. I have joined Fine Art Portraits of Colorado at RL Foster Galleries on Santa Fe.
