Jeannette Stutzman

I've been an artist and teacher throughout my adult life with a passion for art since childhood. I paint in pastel and oil primarily but enjoy venturing into other mediums for exploration and to study technique and effects.

I search out scenes with a variety of textures, light, color and movement. My paintings are bold, direct and emotional and I believe they capture the power and excitement that I experience while out in nature.

To borrow from a David Bowie interview on BBC... "The gray space between the creation and the audience is what it's all about."
